Volunteer patrollers of Mt. Baw Baw Alpine Resort

Who can join?

Anyone over the age of 18 years who is a competent skier or snowboarder with some resort knowledge, an interest in first aid, guest services (provision of information) and most importantly, ski area safety.

Please note:  Applicants must be prepared to undertake and successfully complete an on-snow assessment of skiing/snowboarding skills, the Australian Ski Patrol Association (ASPA) Advanced Emergency Care course and the Mount Baw Baw ski patrol training and assessment program prior to becoming a probationary ski patroller at Mount Baw Baw.

A current motor vehicle drivers license is also advantageous as your role may require the operation of over-snow vehicles.

A minimum age of 18 is required as the ASPA Advanced Emergency Care Course cannot be completed by anyone under this age.
