Are there any fitness/skill requirements?

There is no minimum fitness level requirement to become a ski patroller at Mount Baw Baw.

It should however be noted that ski patrollers are required to spend long periods outdoors in an alpine environment in some times, less than favorable conditions (cold, wet, windy, icy and high altitude).

The job involves early starts, late finishes with some after hours call-out duties and can be very physically demanding (heavy lifting, fencing shoveling etc).
